This Privacy Policy describes how Intentional Labs (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses your information when you use our mobile application, Mindful Phone (the “Service”).

1. Information Collection

We do not collect any personal data.

The Service operates entirely locally on your device. We do not transmit, store, or share any personal information, location data, or usage analytics to external servers.

2. Permissions

The app requests the following permissions to function:

• Accessibility Service: Used solely to detect which app is currently in the foreground, so the Service can present mindful breathing pauses for regulated apps. The Accessibility Service does not read, record, or transmit any on-screen content, keystrokes, or personal information.
• Display Over Other Apps (Overlay): Used to show brief intervention screens (breathing pauses) when you open a regulated app.
• Usage Access: Used on-device to support digital wellbeing functionality. No usage data is stored, logged, or transmitted.
• Foreground Service: Used to run session timers locally on your device. This service does not communicate with any external servers.
• Set Wallpaper: Used to set a calm home screen wallpaper that matches the app theme.
• Post Notifications: Used to display a persistent notification while session timers are active, as required by Android for foreground services.

3. Local Storage

Your preferences (pinned apps, regulated apps, hidden apps, custom app names, and settings) are stored locally on your device using Android’s DataStore. This data is never transmitted off your device and is deleted when you uninstall the app.

4. Third-Party Services

The app does not currently use any third-party analytics or advertising services that collect data.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone under the age of 13.
